Gordon's viewpoint: The Requirement

Market research indicates that there is a keen interest in individuals wanting to gain independence and set up their own business, initially working from home and gaining the potential to develop niche market areas. We have addressed this area under the overall title of Managing Change and considered how to best to meet the needs of this requirement

It is felt that courses built to address "managing change" will appeal to..

(b) Companies wishing to reduce their staff count and wanting to positively demonstrate that there are other ways of earning a living outside of the current workplace.

The Consultant

Gordon has spent all of his working life in major UK Telecommunications and Computing companies addressing both the technical and sales aspects of complex systems for use in small/medium size businesses and international corporates.

For part of that time he held the position of Business Development Manger in the BT Syncordia organisation, a business set up specifically to provide complete solutions into the BT customer base. He also addressed the emerging area of hosted applications where cost of ownership and return on investment are key decision parameters.

Gordon's primary occupation as a Senior Sales Specialist for many types of communications products enabled him to mix key interest areas with tactical marketing and real sales to optimum effect in the various companies for which he has worked.
